Daniel Cornford | Transforming Online Visibility
From 0 to 1,722 Visits

Field: Psychotherapy | Counseling

Challenges: before October 2023, Dan’s business had no online presence - no website, no listings and no digital footprint. This meant zero organic reach and potential customers struggling to find his services online.

Strategy: upon taking over in October 2023, I implemented a comprehensive digital strategy, including:

  • Website creation - designed and launched a professional, optimised website.

  • SEO and listings - set up and optimised Google My Business and other relevant directories.

  • Marketing push - implemented content and engagement strategies to drive traffic.

Results: in just a few months, website visits skyrocketed, peaking at over 200 visits in January 2024. This was a 552% year-over-year increase, proving the power of a strong online presence. While there were natural fluctuations in traffic after the initial surge, the numbers remained consistently strong, even after I handed over management to the client.

How a Website Redesign and SEO Boosted Traffic by 100%

Field: Therapy | Trauma Support | EMDR | Breathwork | Yoga

Challenges: Anne's website was outdated, disorganised and lacked a cohesive structure, making it difficult for visitors to navigate and engage with her services. It failed to effectively communicate her brand's message, resulting in low traffic and poor online visibility. The outdated design, combined with poor SEO practices, led to minimal visitor engagement and poor search engine rankings, contributing to stagnant growth. To address these issues, Anne needed a complete redesign, improved on-page SEO for better search visibility and social media design templates to establish a consistent and professional online presence. In August, a comprehensive overhaul was undertaken, focusing on a modern, user-friendly design and optimised SEO to enhance performance and drive meaningful traffic.

Strategy: a full website redesign was implemented, focusing on user experience, mobile responsiveness and improved site speed. SEO best practices were applied, including keyword optimisation, content enhancement, metadata refinement and technical SEO fixes such as proper indexing and internal linking. High-quality content was created to align with search intent and a structured backlink strategy was introduced to increase domain authority. The combination of these efforts aimed to improve search rankings and boost organic traffic.

Results: the impact of these changes became evident in the months following the implementation. By August, traffic began to rise steadily, showing consistent growth. A significant spike was observed in October, with visits tripling compared to earlier months. This upward trend continued, demonstrating the effectiveness of the redesign and SEO strategies. Overall, the site experienced a 100% year-over-year increase in traffic, validating the success of the approach and showcasing the power of a well-executed SEO and design strategy.

Difficult Conversations | From Word Docs to Wow Factor
How High-Quality Designs Enhanced Client Appeal

Field: Communication Skills Training Provider

Challenges: the team at Difficult Conversations lacked high-quality marketing materials, relying on poorly designed Word documents for brochures, presentations and social media covers. These materials did not effectively represent the professionalism of their services and failed to capture the attention of potential clients. Their branding was inconsistent and the design elements were not cohesive or visually appealing, limiting their ability to make a strong impression and stand out in a competitive market.

Strategy: a complete redesign of their marketing materials was initiated, focusing on creating visually appealing, professional and cohesive designs that aligned with their brand identity. New brochures were designed with clear, concise messaging and an emphasis on the value of their training programs. A dynamic, engaging presentation template was created to support their training sessions and client presentations. Consistent cover photos were also developed for their social media platforms to enhance their online presence and ensure branding was unified across all touchpoints.

Results: the updated marketing materials significantly improved the provider's ability to showcase their services and professionalism. The new brochures and presentations made a stronger impact, attracting more potential clients and making it easier for them to understand the value of the provider’s training. The team also felt more confident using these polished materials, as they provided a stronger visual representation of their expertise. Overall, the provider saw an improvement in both online visibility and client interest.
